eish!

a word of warning for those with .za.net domains - transferring hosting providers is a long and painful experience.

you see, .za.net is a free domain so i can’t really complain but it did take 2 weeks for the DNS to update - hence the lack of posts or comments during this period. All my databases were already backed up and installed on the new server, so for those who did comment in the last few days and it’s not there anymore, it’s not you… it’s me.

anyway, i’m so glad to be back up and running. there’s lots to talk about:

- bmw.mobi site post has received quite a bit of feedback and questions that need responding to. I’ll do this in a new post.
- i’ve upgraded my Wordpress to version 2.1, this was not without any frustration so i think i should post some links and info on how i managed to do it.
- i know there’s more, but i can’t quite remember what they were.

oh ja, i see about 10 of my last posts have come through my rss feed again. sorry about that. think of it as a bit of a recap!
