I feel like some kind of international jetsetter.
In less than 3 weeks I’ll be jetting off for a 4 day ultimate frisbee beach tournament in Rimni which is on the east coast of Italy. South Africa is being represented by a men’s open and a co-ed team. Should be really fun. We’ve been training pretty hard, including plenty running and diving drills in the beach volleyball sandpit at Sandton Sports Club. Check out our blog for some more videos on the Paganello beach tournament (as well as how to join us).
On the 9th, I wrap up and join good friends rob and nic (what? no blog?) in Cervinia for a few days of snowboarding.
Found this and quite a few others like it on youtube:It’s one thing checking a snow report website with icons of sun and clouds, it’s another to see what people have just this past week been doing there.
I’m getting very excited. I’m going to have to put together a bit of an ipod playlist for some super-slope action (any suggestions welcome).
BTW. I managed to qualify for “Sports Leave” (for the frisbee leg) from work which is a big tasty cherry on the top.
life is good. la dolce vita.
