Things are hotting up as 9th of August moves closer.

Oppikoppi’s blog just announced a few interesting international additions to the ‘koppi line-up:

These artists form part of “Ampli5“, a 5fm (yawn) and Jose Cuervo Tequila (a necessary evil) tour:

Internationals:

* Jimmy Eat World
* Groove Armada
* Violent Femmes
* Stanton Warriors
* Youngblood Brass Band
* The Loose Cannons (dj set)
* Devon the Dude

Locals are:

* Fokofpolisiekar
* Parlotones
* Love Jones
* Max Normal TV
* Dorp (only JHB and OK)
* HHP (only JHB and OK)

To be totally honest though, I’m not sure if all these international guys are going to be playing at oppikoppi. If so, I guess they’ll be playing on the 9th. Which means the rest of the festival timetable may be a bit sparse for some (not me).
