Great trip to Italy.

Here’s the pics. Taken on my favourite of favourite cameras the Lomo LCA. Digital is great for volume and ease. But film has a soft/warm charm to it. The way my little lomo frames pictures with its characteristic dark faded edges is, as a good friend would put it, “totally sweet“.

The Paganello frisbee tournament was more fun than successful. The standard is just so much higher there. We’ve got a long way to go, but we’re getting there pretty quickly. I’m hoping to have a video up on youtube sometime soon. (i noticed that there’s already a bunch of clips but mostly on the freestyle form which was really amazing to watch).

Skiing in Cervinia, below the mighty Matterhorn, was really great. In attendance was Rob “The Stokestacoaster!” Stokes, who had a really tough time getting to grips with this stuff called snow, and previous snowboard buddy Nic “Show me the rail” Ray who won “worst wipeout” after unsuccessfully attempting a rail slide on the last run of the trip.

Now that my holiday is over, I need to get back into the swing of things. A lot has been going on, and there’s much to blog about, most importantly the relaunch of BMW South Africa’s new Website.
