Getting things done

Lifeclever points to a worthwhile podcast by david allen of Getting Things Done (GTD) fame.

I’ve had the book for almost a year i’d guess. I only started reading the thing after peter’s presentation at Barcamp Jozi. I’m hoping to become a born again organiser - a skill so badly lacking from my arsenal of skills, that i feel it may be a hinderance to my own personal progression in life.

to be honest, my main concern is getting into the habit of following this system. i’m brilliant at getting excited about something only to discard it a few days later because it’s too much of a mission to keep up.

hopefully the podcast and other cool reading (and plugins) out there will keep the momentum going.

we need to start a support group for gtd newbies!

That book changed my life… I don’t think I’m actually more productive now but I certainly use alot more post it notes since I read it.

I feel the same way, I have my moleskin and postit notes ready but it is easy to get excited about it but to implement is a different story. I think the support group is a great idea!
