The SAA advert

February 8th, 2008 · Comments

I’ve been hearing all about this hilarious new SAA advert on TV. I can’t find it anywhere on the web.

Update:
Mike sent the link to [...]

Opensocial, the invisible Facebook killer?

November 4th, 2007 · Comments

Much has been said about Google’s OpenSocial APIs, but for me the fact that it isn’t really a website or physical space is what makes it interesting.
Uno De Waal is someone who’s posted quite a bit about social networking platforms (or social networks) being a fad, whilst the activity of social networking is here to [...]

Greasemonkey. The only way to Facebook.

Greasemonkey can be used for adding new functionality to web pages (for example, [...]

We’re starting a shop!

Babazeka will be bringing you some of the finest, and just plain nicest contemporary handmade African stuff, sourced by Miss [...]

Scrabulous for me, is the most important application for Facebook since sliced bread.
Truth be told, for me, FB’s gravity is waining, I just don’t find that there’s much to do there anymore. I feel like a youth who’s now gotten tired hanging out in the same shopping mall.
But “the scrabulous” has brought me [...]

My 3 worst “geek cool” phrases.

September 20th, 2007 · Comments

They’re phrases that have taken to the geek web/marketing/advertising industry like a “smash hit” that gets played every 5 minutes on the radio (disclaimer: I live on my ipod. I don’t listen to ‘music’ radio anymore, so I could be wrong, but i suspect it’s worse than ever).
In no particular order:
- Web 2.0
- Blogosphere
- “after [...]
